Creative, Supportive Fellowship of Women
First Wayne Street is home to an active, thriving membership of United Methodist Women, who meet regularly in three different fellowship groups: The Hannah Fellowship, the Joanna Fellowship, and the Mary Ruth Fellowship.
United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
The UMW of First Wayne Street strive to inform, inspire, involve and include all women of the community to grow through education, stewardship, service and fellowship. As part of that goal, the UMW sponsors many events throughout the year, in addition to each fellowship holding regular meetings.
Generally speaking, the Fellowships meet as follows*:
Hannah Fellowship - 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm in Fellowship Hall
Joanna Fellowship - 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10:00 am in the Church Parlor
Mary Ruth Fellowship - 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am in Room 115
*Meeting times may differ from this schedule on occasion. Please check the website calendar of events or your UMW Handbook to verify the time & location of a particular event.
