Find Meaning in the Quest
At First Wayne Street, we like to say that our 10:00 am Sunday morning service is a "fusion of praise and majesty," appealing to people from all generations and all walks of life. Each service includes comforting, familiar words and prayers and refreshing new expressions of our faith, as well as contemporary and classical music.
There are few easy answers to life’s big questions. We won't promise to answer all of the questions in your life. But we do believe that framing your questions in the context of Jesus’ light and life will help lead you toward the best answers for you, and toward a life well-lived. Spiritual meaning is found in the quest of asking the right questions of God’s Word, will and way. Spiritual maturity comes in acting upon those answers to the best of our abilities. Pastor Greg Enstrom’s Sunday morning messages are scripturally based and relevant to everyday life, and each message offers a view of God's word that will help you reflect on your life, challenge your beliefs, and strengthen your faith.
Sunday services also include a children's message, focusing on the morning Scripture from a viewpoint that's easily understood by all ages. Infant and child care is available in the nursery during the entire service. We observe Open Communion on the first Sunday of every month.
