Scripture: 1 Peter 4:8–11
Peter reminds the church that each person has received gifts to serve others. Some are called to speak, others to serve, but all are called to use their gifts faithfully as stewards of God’s grace.
When we think of generosity, it is easy to focus on money, but God has entrusted us with talents, passions, and abilities meant to bless others. Living generously means offering those gifts—not holding them back or comparing them to others, but using them joyfully for the sake of the Kingdom.
Hospitality, encouragement, creativity, leadership, compassion—each gift is needed. Together, they form a mosaic of grace that reflects God’s abundant love.
Reflection Questions:
- What gifts, skills, or passions has God entrusted to you?
- How have you seen God use the gifts of others to bless the community?
- Where might God be inviting you to share your gifts more fully?
Prayer:
Giver of every good gift, thank You for the talents and abilities You have placed within me. Help me to see them not as my own, but as tools for service. Show me where I can share them, so that in all things You may be glorified. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
