Children

Our Mission

At First Wayne Street, we believe every child is a part of God’s family. Our mission is to nurture their spiritual growth with age-appropriate experiences that inspire faith, build friendships, and cultivate a love for worship.

Community

Faith grows best in community. Our children’s ministry helps kids connect with friends, families, and mentors in a safe and welcoming environment. From Sunday worship to midweek gatherings, we support your family’s faith journey every step of the way.

Formation

Rooted in scripture, our programming encourages children to explore faith through fun, creative activities. Each experience — from music to storytelling — teaches them how to live God’s love in their daily lives.

Service

Our children’s ministry offers service opportunities that teach compassion, empathy, and the importance of giving back. Whether it’s through group projects or small acts of kindness, kids learn that everyone has a unique way of sharing God’s love.

Every teacher and volunteer is committed to creating an atmosphere of love, respect, and grace. We also follow strict child protection guidelines to ensure children feel safe and secure.

We provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging nursery for our youngest members. Our nursery is designed to create a warm and welcoming environment where children can explore and feel comfortable while their families participate in worship and other activities.
