First Wayne Street United Methodist Church is committed to offering the best in the musical arts – not just through WOWS concerts, but also in our regular Sunday worship services, held every Sunday at 10:00 AM. The church features a talented choir of amateurs and professional Choral Scholars that sings in worship each week as well as a praise team, adult handbell choir and a graduated music program for children and youth. Hymns are ecumenical and traditional and preaching is insightful. Upcoming services with a particular focus on music include a spectacular hymn festival in October and Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve. Join us!
First Wayne Street’s sanctuary is a wonderful acoustic space, and First Wayne Street has a long history of supporting and offering fine music. Our music program includes vocal and handbell choirs for preschoolers through adults, and often features soloists and instrumentals (including both members of our congregation and of the community).
