Mark’s Gospel tells two healing stories–Jairus’ daughter and the woman with the hemorrhage. But what do we do when healing does not come in the way we expect?
What does it mean to really “open our hearts wide” to others?
Does the world see Christ in us–by our words and actions for others?
Is there a difference between “joy” and “happiness”?
Joy comes from the inside–from our soul–and knowing that we are loved by God.
We all face those times in our lives when we wonder if God is really there or if God even cares. The writer of Psalm 22 expresses those same sentiments, and yet, in the words we find also find a promise.
God is with us always. He has always known us. Ours is a God who loves us deeply and intimately. God is with us in each and every moment. We are never alone!
