Youth Receive Grant for Outreach

We are thrilled to announce that our Youth Ministry has been awarded a $1,000 grant from the John Chapman’s Kiwanis Club to further support our outreach efforts in filling the community pantry. This grant will play a crucial role in enhancing our youth ministry programming and expanding our impact within the community.

Over the past year, our dedicated youth have been actively involved in creating snack bags and hygiene packs to stock the community pantry located on the east side of our building. These efforts have immensely benefited those in need and have helped foster a sense of unity and compassion among our youth.

The grant from the John Chapman’s Kiwanis Club will enable us to purchase essential supplies for an upcoming packing event, allowing us to continue our mission of serving others and making a positive difference in the community. We are deeply grateful for the support and generosity of the Kiwanis Club in empowering our youth to be agents of change and compassion.

For more information about the Youth Ministry and its ongoing outreach efforts, please feel free to reach out to our dedicated Youth Director, Kim, at kim@fwsumc.org. Together, let us continue to spread love, hope, and kindness through our collective efforts.
